Snacks ,


  • 200g oat flakes (1 cup)
  • ½ bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 400g pitted dates (2 cups)
  • 100g coconut flakes
  • 3 TS cacao butter
  • 2 TS chia seeds
  • 1 TS hemp seeds
  • 1 TS goji berry
  • 2 lemon peel, lightly grated

for film:

  • 2 TS cacao powder
  • 2 TS coconut oil and
  • ½ bourbon vanilla sugar


  1. Place dates and cacao butter in blender or food processor and purée until they form a thick paste forms.
  2. Add the oat flakes, coconut flakes, chia seeds, bourbon vanilla sugar and goji berry an and stir all of those ingredients together until combined.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until it forms a thick dough.
  4. Once the mixture is combined, pop it in the fridge for 15 minutes so that it will harden slightly. This will help make it easier to make a form.
  5. Line a square baking pan with parchment paper. Firmly press the mixture into the pan, pressing tightly into all corners.
  6. In a small sauce pan add the coconut oil, raw cacao powder and bourbon vanilla sugar and place over low heat, mixing continuously to homogenize.
  7. Remove from the heat and pour over the oats layer.
  8. Set aside to cool for at least two hours.
  9. Remove from the freezer, cut into slices and serve or keep into an airtight container for up to two weeks in the refrigerator.
